Semper Fidelis is the imprint of artist and Artist Book maker David Faithfull. This diverse range of books, multiples and editions has been produced over the last ten years and has been exhibited extensively, both nationally and internationally with pieces in collections including the Tate and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.

Titles include the ongoing ‘Jettison’ series investigating the crash of a Tornado jet near Torness Nuclear Power Station in southeast Scotland, whilst the palindromic series ‘Tide/Edit’ reflects the dichotomy of objective and subjective interpretations of landscape, specifically based on the Isle of Mull.

Recent book projects include Faithfull’s curation of the critically acclaimed exhibition ‘Inkubator’ of Artists Books, Prints and Multiples, at Edinburgh Printmakers last year. This included the work of over 50 artists and over 150 individual pieces arranged in three interactive themed and furnished spaces, reflecting the different natures of the work.
