Tide Edit 2 was a solo exhibition at An Tobar on the Isle of Mull in 2005, presenting a cohesive body of work relating specifically to the island created by David Faithfull over a period of years.
The accompanying Artists Book published to coincide witht the exhibition, contrasts the words of writer Giles Sutherland with his direct experience of visiting some of the sites depicted in the book.
The visual 'thesis' explored and rendered by the artists is countered with a literary 'antithesis', resulting in a 'synthesis' sympathetic to the authentic potrayal of the actual landscape.
