Sum of Parts was an exhibiton celebrating Artists' bookworks, multiples and editions. Organised by the Fruitmarket Bookshop, local and interbntiional artists were invited to show works on a 'sale or return' basis. A programme of readings and sctivities ran throughout the exhibtion.

Featured artists included: Beagles and Ramsay, Helen Douglas, Morning Star, Keith Thompson, Rachel Hazel and David Faithfull.

David Faithfull exhibited the BAROX series of Artists Book, prints and multiples, and the experimental print series PIECES OF EIGHT incorporating shredded banknotes from the Bank of Scotland vaults.
